COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None at the moment...not from this site anyway. I've spent a lot of years bouncing from country to country, staying with friends and people I've worked with. This is new, and interesting.

Interests

I love books. I grew up reading Fantasy, Horror, and Science Fiction, but have been edging more towards classics and modern fiction as my palate begins to demand complexity. Movies, games (especially chess), and hiking are among my preferred pastimes, though nothing beats sitting down with a few drinks and good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

The list I could write here....but then again I have a thing for listening to what other people like. It's a sure-fire way of finding out about new authors, bands, and indie movies I never even knew existed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in Oahu is definitely up there...along with bungee jumping off of the Auckland bridge and Tower...then there was that month-long camping trip around the US's west coast. Yeah, I'll start with those.

My traveling and working with people from all nationalities has opened my eyes and ears to experiences and points of view I would have otherwise never understood. You never stop learning, and if you understand the things being taught to you, you can pass that knowledge along.
