About Me

To complete my English teaching certificate and travel around to Asia!

I'm a very easy going and friendly guy. I love meeting new people, making friends and talking to strangers. I am happy to speak with anyone and everyone :)

I am currently working and studying English teaching. Travelling is my life and I want to visit every country in the world.

Look at everything in a positive way, try new things and drink lots of tea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted 30+ couch surfers in Edinburgh over 3 years. I am very into the couch surfing scene.

Every single couch surfing moment I have had has been entirely positive! I've met a lot of amazing people, many of whom will be my friends for life. I look forward to meeting you in the future, and to many more incredible experiences :)

I LOVE music and I am at my happiest when I am at a gig, concert or festival. I like to go out, party and I probably drink more beer and whisky than I should. I also love to be outdoors - days in the park, hill walking and anything to do with sport. Football, tennis and mountain-biking are probably my favourites but I'll give anything a shot! I love food and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Indie, rock, dance, eclectic. Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Portishead, Belle & Sebastian, Rodrigo y Gabriela, the Knife, the Clash, Pixies, Sigur Ros, Pulp, PJ Harvey, Manu Chao, Joy Division, Bjork, QOTSA et al... I also LOVE being introduced to any new and/or interesting music.

Movies - Anything animated, french, japanese or art house. Amelie, Diving Bell & the Butterfly, Micmacs, Princess Mononoke, Stand By Me, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, Labyrinth...

Books - Anything by Nick Hornby (High Fidelity, About A Boy...) and anything travel related - On The Road, Shantaram etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
