Sharks! I'm so excited to have this opportunity in Marine Science because I'd love to work toward a phd in elasmobranch neuroecology.

ABOUT ME

I am a 24yo, adventurous vegetarian who often gets lost! I love learning from and sharing my experiences with others. I am friendly and outgoing, but pretty quiet when worn-out. I currently work with special needs children at an elementary school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in Couchsurfing because I want uncommon travel experiences. I believe staying with locals provides unique insights into the locale. I also seek to build a community for myself of likeminded explorers everywhere I go. Together, we can create the connections needed to attain experiences beyond what we ever conceived. Maybe they'll even come visit me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with an amazing woman in Chattanooga, TN for the 2014 American Elasmobranch Society conference. I loved exploring Chattanooga's nooks and crannies with her.

I love field botany and know a good bit about practical uses for native plants. I have done field research with beetles, plants, and bears!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If there are any food items, etc you love from America but can't get at home, I'd love to bring you something! Personally, I have an in depth knowledge of natural science, and yoga/body mechanics. I'm also trained in chaplaincy and advocacy. And I'm a service dog trainer, so I can work with your pup! I travel with my own service dog, Zazu! He's the very best.
