Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Doing the right thing, even if it's hard.
ABOUT ME
I am a gay woman, 46 years old. I am on disability for arthritis and I have a cat that is with me. I am still mobile, just can't do much physical labor, and have pain. I am waiting on the disabled housing list(section 8), it's been on the list 11 years now, and I am told I should get benefits soon. I work part time to supplement my income working with children at my church, Namaste' Center for Spiritual Living in Long Beach/Seal Beach. I have been into art, cooking, or caregiver work all my life.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is an ever changing cycle. Life is good. Mansion, couch, oar, or dirt, it's always the human connection that makes the heart glad, not what you have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I do service at my Spiritual Center, I work with kids there. I spend time helping people in need in my community, mostly disabled or senior.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed for aprox. 3 years in my early 20s.
Interests
I am a very outdoorsy person, and feel the most alive in Nature. I love kids and animals of all types. I enjoy helping people in small ways, and really enjoy getting to know people, new and old friends and connections.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camping at Anza Borrego Desert, where the winds scour and the stars shine.
Camping in Humboldt County, the majesty of the redwoods, the quiet calm.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am great with animals, cats and dogs especially. I have a handle on most art/crafts and would love to help or show people techniques and empowerment in art.
I am a good cook, and love to share and teach about this passion.
