Broad taste in music including most things weird and new on student radio; but the artists I keep coming back to are Radiohead, John Frusciante, Ben Harper, Hiatus, David Bowie, The Cure, Ben Howard, De la Soul, Marilyn Manson, Placebo, Broken Social Scene, Zhang Zhen Yue, Yoyo Ma, Camille, Benjamin Biolay, Charles Aznavour, Christine and the Queens, Florence and the Machine, Bruce Springsteen.

Movies: sci-fi is favorite genre, hard to choose one favorite movie.

Books that left a profound or lasting impression: Demian; The French Lieutenant's Women; Restoration; The Life of Pi; 伤心咖啡之歌; The Outsider;

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Jumped off a 4 story boat on the Amazon River, climbed onto a Brazilian navy boat and then ran through a village in only my boxer shorts trying to catch up with the boat that I had thought was stopping. Oh yeah, it was the middle of the night, too. That's the simplified version of the story ;).

Teach: Mandarin, English and anything that I've learnt that helps
Learn: Mandarin, French, Spanish later on and any new skills and ways of looking at the world that don't come naturally to me.
