About Me

To inspire and to be inspired by meeting new people from different places.

I love art, music, dance, and trying new foods even if they make me gag. Getting lost on my bike is a common pass-time and as long as I have my camera I'm happy.

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness -- all foes to real understanding. Likewise, tolerance or broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in our little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain

Writing is good, thinking is better. Being smart is good, being patient is better." Kamaswami, Siddhartha

"no one can ever give the exact measure of his needs, nor of his conceptions, nor of his sorrows; and since human speech is like a cracked tin kettle, on which we hammer out tunes to make the bears dance when we long to move the stars." Taken from Madame Bovary

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I sold all of my possessions and moved to Cambodia. This is amazing to me because I did it alone, and being alone was one of the scariest thoughts in the world to me. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would do such a thing, and it's been an incredibly amazing and eye-opneing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since living in Cambodia I've learned so much about the language, the culture, and layout of the country. I would love to share this knowledge with anybody willing to listen. I want to learn more about surrounding countries and their history and geography.

Countries I've Visited

Bahamas, Canada, Cayman Islands, Czech Republic, Dominica, Germany, Honduras, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Martinique, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Thailand

Countries I've Lived In

Cambodia, United States
