ABOUT ME

In describing us friends would say we are both friendly, laid back, and fun-loving. But then the descriptions would diverge: he's quieter, musical, with quick situational humor; she's talkative, intellectual, and has a more sarcastic sense of humor.

Interests

We both love to eat and enjoy trying new foods! We enjoy being active: walking, hiking, playing soccer, biking, yoga, skiing, swimming, etc. but are not extremists in any sport. Meeting new people and learning about different cultures, ancient and modern, is another shared interest that motivates our travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We met a true world traveler and his lovely wife and son in Colombia... the exchange of ideas and energy was an example of the rewarding encounters one has while traveling.

One of the most humbling and awe-inspiring things we have seen is a summer trip through the redwoods in Northern California. It´s impossible to imagine or describe how small you feel among those giants until you've experienced it!

We look forward to being impressed and awed by many more experiences during our travels... especially among the jungles, ruins, mountains, and people of South America!
