ABOUT ME
I care a lot about my friends, and people in general! I am very much an extrovert and love meeting new people and making new friends. I care about the state of the world and love working with kids.
I have lots of energy and love to be busy, devoting myself to work, school, volunteer efforts, and my social life.
Interests
I am a music and nature lover, and travel is very important to me. I try to go to new places, experience new things, and keep my life interesting. Attending concerts, eating good food, and experiencing all the amazing nature the world has to offer are my some of my passions.
Another passion of mine is working with children. I work as a preschool teacher, nanny, and classroom volunteer. I want to be a kindergarten teacher and kids are so inspirational.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While on my 6-day solo of my backpacking trip in summer 2007, I hiked 12 miles through the Winema National Forest in Oregon, bushwhacking (hiking off trail) up the side of the tallest butte in the forest, finally reaching the top at sunset with the most phenomenal view of the surrounding wilderness. I was on solo, so unable to interact with anybody. Reaching the top of this mountain at the end of a huge hike, being rewarded with that view, and being completely self-sufficient to set up my camp and cook my food was a moment that left me truly awestruck.
I worked with extremely underprivileged elementary school students at an after-school program at a school in downtown Santa Ana, California. The energy, enthusiasm, and positive, loving attitudes of these children was deeply inspiring and motivated me to pursue my degree in Education, with a focus on social justice.
