CURRENT MISSION

A Mission? Haven´t found one yet I think. Unless you can call getting to know as much as possible or spend your lifetime doing things you already know and love is a mission. Probably not in the military kind of defintion but I don´t mind that.

ABOUT ME

I am an open minded person, like probably many of you are on couchsurfing. Its always been interesting to me to visit new places, get to know new people and different life styles. Thats is why I started the whole couch surfing deal. Whereas at the moment, my appartment is so tiny, that there is neither a couch nor space in the floor to host some one - very unfortunate but I´m sure that will change at some point.
Anyhow, I am fairly easy going, a medical student, a piano player, a photographer, a runner. Weird to sum up myself in this little paragraph - thats all for now.

Interests

I like to spend time being outdoors or listening to music or learning to play an instrument - right now I am trying to pull some strings on a guitar - we´ll see how far that goes. I like to be around people, so most of my time is spent with friends and food, which I both enjoy a lot, the combination even more. I like to dance, but I don´t do that all the time, I like watching a good movie but who doesn´t? Traveling is something I am pretty keen on, too. But I also like the time in between travels, the being home.
I like the ocean as much as the mountains - I try to spend as much time at either one and it never gets boring.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movies are definately Into the wild, Garden State and I think Moonrise Kingdom was one of the really good ones.
I like jazz music but also electronic music if its well done, well meaning me liking it and I am not an expert enough to go into detail there. I love the Kings of convenience, the xx, the aviashai cohen trio, e.s.t., feist and probably 4 thousand other things that I am not thinking of right now. I liek to read a lot but sadly, there has not been a book in the last couple of months that i´ve found outstanding enough to share it here. But I am on that.
