ABOUT ME

Graduating from university has led to floating through days on the hunt for the next adventure. I'm not one for the idea of settling in to a permanent job and a permanent home. I'm currently doing a TEFL course too so I can work abroad and add to my travel CV. I have not seen enough of this world yet! As a person I'm one of those that finds it difficult to put "me" in to words (writing degree or not!) self reflection is tough! I'll state a few things I have done and do and leave the rest up to you! I read religiously, i'm a bit of a film nerd, up until recently I helped out weekly in a Brownie pack and absoloutly loved it! I love cycling around London and venturing to places of interest and excitement be it gigs, outdoor events, pubs, clubs etc. I think I'm better in person than in theory!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Yet to have couch surfed off this site but I have certainly crashed on a few couches in my time and had many types of people crash on mine.

The usual, films, reading, music music music, playing guitar, baking, cooking, tattoos, vintage clothes, anything from the 20's-60's not so much the 70's (maybe a bit of disco if on rollerskates!), definitely the 80's (minus the shoulder pads!)

so so many! Currently reading "we need to talk about Kevin" so i can finish it before going to see it at the Cinema, love Douglas Coupland (generation X, girlfriend in a coma) A little diary my mum game me of a girl from the late 60's called "go ask alice", try to throw in some classics to, loved wuthering heights and and reading poetry too, I've got a Paul Verlain quote tattoed on my ribs! Music is as vast as 30's crooners like Julie London and rockabilly things too, 50's pop, 60's psychedilic (love count five), blondie, cheesy 80's tunes, grunge, riot grrls (hole, sleater-kinney), PJ Harvey, New folk Kate rusby, Roddy WOomble (I could go on all day!) Indie stuff too and heavier things and anything new and danceable to. so so much! I daren't start on my movie likes as it's as vast as my musical musings.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I had the opportunity to go to Africa last year for a few weeks and that was pretty amazing. It's the furthest I've ever travelled to and I wandered around in awe for most of the time. Obviously you see the worse sides of the country too but (without sounding cliche) it really helps give you perspective on what we have and can have here in England.

Not sure I have much to teach yet, maybe how to bake a meaaan cake! I'd love to learn what ever anyone can teach, languages is something I've ALWAYS wanted to be better at.
