ABOUT ME

My hair is curly and sometimes obeys my commands, but not nearly as often as I would like it to.
I want to go to drama school and be an actor.
I get very excited about recipe books, food, baking. Anything to do with cooking.
I made a patchwork quilt last year.
I love gin.
My list of books I want to read has 127 titles on it. I have read about 12 of them. I'm afraid I'll never reach the end because I keep adding to it.
I almost wish I lived in the '20s, except if I did I would miss Indian food and hoodies.
I have a minor obsession with patterned tights.
I don't text fast. I prefer to phone.

PHILOSOPHY

1. If I'm not willing to do something about it, I'm not allowed to complain about it.

2. If I stop growing and learning, I get complacent. When I get complacent I get bored. And when I get bored I get miserable. So I just don't stop learning :)

3. Why worry? It's interest paid on a debt that you may never owe!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. LOVE it. And the best bit about travelling is meeting people. Hotel rooms are the same wherever you go. Couchsurfing is always different.

Interests

Anything to do with the acting :) - I love watching plays and musicals, I love to dance, I read a lot of plays and watch a lot of films.

I love to cook. I get very excited when I find a wheat free baking recipe, and I always try to make my food as healthy as possible too. I also like to cook for family and friends.

I'm a bit of a bookworm, I spend a fair amount of my time reading.To be fair my degree is a bit of a glorified book club, so at least I have an excuse!

I enjoy styling hair, especially exploring vintage styles. I'm trying to transfer this skill to styling my own hair - its harder than I thought!

I made a patchwork quilt last year because I wanted one. 15 months later and it's almost done!

I spent a lot of time on trains - not necessarily an interest but it's something I enjoy doing, probably because I'm usually going somewhere.
