Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As still living with my parents, its hard to offer a couch right now. What we can offer is everything else. Our time, experiences, knowledge about the region, German ways to travel and insight information that might be helpful. As well we love to celebrate have a nice time at a bar, and taking people to one of our university partys.
My best experience so far: Meeting with a very nice girl named Marinella from the Philipines on the Maldives for dinner. She showed me and my friend around and told us very helpful stuff about the main island, which places to visit and which rules to follow, as the main islands are a little different from the typical maldive tourist islands. Though I didn't know this in advance we would have been quite helpless without the support we got. I hope our new friend Marinella is going to visit us very soon =)
We love to do outdoor sports, as well as water sports such as sailing or diving.
- outdoor activities
- scuba diving

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled with a crazy girl from Indonesia to Beijing. We had to ask our way through in chinese, as we had a cheap hotel on one of the otuside circles of the city. She got lost several times, it was always an experience to pick her up. As we intended to climb the Great Wall she went back to the bus after 10 min of walk cause she was tired, so we met her back at the bus. Years later I heard by a indonesian friend that Indonesians aren't used to walk around or to climb hills, that was quite a funny experience. Also that she made a lot of friends on our way, like exchanging phone numbers with chinese policemen or with cleaning ladys on the bus... never gonna experience something like that again.
