About Me

Film student from Albuquerque (Rio Rancho suburbs to be more precise). My dream is to write screenplays when I'm older. It's a long shot I know. For now I'll keep traveling and writing as much as humanly possible. If you host me I promise to follow your house rules to the T. It would be impossible to explain my personal qualities. Everyone has a different take on me. All I can say is that I'm extremely chatty. That, I have been told by everyone who's past through my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only do I wish to travel places I want to experience them as well. Not in a manner suitable to the everyday tourist. No, I wish to achieve an experience that allows me to acknowledge the life of the local. Monuments are pretty but culture is eye-opening.

Interests

I'm from the American Southwest so I have experienced a plethora of outdoor sports and activities throughout my adolescence. With my mother being a painter I have always carried an appreciation for the arts and a will to leave my own artistic impression. My best friend/roommate studies philosophy so I've accepted many aspects of the simple life. (i.e. sleep schedule and daily walks)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything from Tool to Mac Demarco. Like most millennials my music taste has been dramatically expanded by the internet.

Movies: Golly this a challenge. My favorite (if it's even possible to have one) is Ridley Scott's Bladerunner. Westerns and Sci-Fi are my go to genres but the film student in me craves anything avant-garde (David Lynch or Stanley Kubrick for example). Yeah, this is a hard question. If you're interested I can go on endlessly in person.

Books: Sadly, I started reading late. Ray Bradbury got me into books. His style is so straight forward and smooth. I recommend him to anyone who's just started the hobby. Phillip K. Dick is great and I love Dune by Frank Herbert.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met Quentin Tarantino in Telluride, Colorado whilst he was shooting The Hateful Eight. He was wonderful and gave me some amazing advice.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being new to this I'm here to solely learn from you. I may accidentally teach you something and I'll definitely share some personal stories both recent and from the distant past.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can do chores of any kind or at least attempt to. I'm extremely tidy and I'll exist within the space given to me with the utmost respect and gratitude towards you, my host(ess).

Countries I’ve Visited
