About Me

CURRENT MISSION

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away

ABOUT ME

I'm a nice, easy-going, relaxed person who likes to socialize, meet new people and enjoy life. I'm always in for trying new things and thus I registered myself on this website. Currently I'm still studying but that doesn't keep me from enjoying every step I make. I love to go out at nights and to dance till the early morning. Usually I go to bed when normal people wake up.

PHILOSOPHY

When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had several unforgettable experiences with couchsurfing. My very first experience with couchsurfers was when 2 girls, Pauline and Kate, ended up sleeping at my place after a rough Queen's Night party. They were originally a friend of mine's couchsurfers but because my house was closer, everyone ended up here eventually. Later that year I visited these girls with a buddy of mine at their place in Berlin were we spend an whole week! I'm so grateful for that experience, thanks a lot Pauline! My second experience was with two Polish girls called Joanna and Joanna, who originally would stay with someone else but last minute that guy said that it wasn't possible anymore. So being the goodhearted guy I am, I couldn't let them sleep outside and took them in. I think they've enjoyed themselves a lot, but it's only a guess ;). After that I had a russian boy and a russian girl over. This was really a magical experience. I can't describe here in words how it was. The only thing I can say, is that these two people have a special meaning to me and are very close to my heart right now. I'm planning to go visit them this summer in Moscow, if everything goes well. We became very good friends in such a short period of time and I still think often about them.

Interests

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return.
But what is more painful is to love someone and never
find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who
means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was
never meant to be and you just have to let go.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a
porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away
feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose
it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been
missing until it arrives.

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an
hour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but it
takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth,
even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you
smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day
seem bright.

Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go,
be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and
one chance to do all the things you want to do.

Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it
hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.

A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wreck
a life. A timely word may level stress. But a loving word may
heal and bless.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best
of everything they just make the most of everything that comes
along their way.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with
a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone
around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die,
you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.
