A patient and laid back American with Palestinian roots working at the intersection of global justice and digital communications. Happy stuff: Mediterranean food, sunshine and rubber bands. Annoying stuff: cultural intolerance, poor hygiene, impatient girlfriends.
A couple quotes to sum up a fraction of my personal philosophy:
"he who knows one country, knows no country."
"Money facilitates spontaneity."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Last couch surfing experience took place in Cologne, Germany. Perfect experience with a very welcoming and kind host. She taught much about Cologne's history and gave great advice on the best Christmas Markets in town.
Prior to that, I lived for over a month on a friend's couch while transitioning to a new job in a new city.
Reading, particularly about history, culture, and geography. Seinfeld. Conversation with loved ones. Walking through airport terminals. Landscape artwork. 1930s Jazz music. Shoes (yea, i said it). Biking. And much more.
