Currently I am travelling to learn from the people and places I go.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small country town of 1300 about 5 hours drive from Sydney Australia. I have three brothers, one sister and 42 cousins. I like being a part of a big family. I have traveled to a different country most years since I was 20. Paul and I were traveling in 2010 through Canada and the USA and did some couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2010 we had opportunities to surf in Canada and the USA on our way from St. John's Newfoundland to Vancouver, B.C.
We are are now available to offer surfing opportunties to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Vilnius, Lithuania - my sister and I had our own room in a house with a lovely host.
Krakow, Poland - my sister and I shared the floor space between two single beds occupied my the guys that shared the room. It was cosy.
Washington, D.C. Bar Harbor, Chicago, Portland, Maine

Interests

Hiking, cooking, eating, most things relating to history, family interactions, attempting to learn the djembe.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read about places I am going or have been to get a deeper understanding of the place. e.g. I have just finished reading "The Shipping News" and "Random Passage" as I am living in Newfoundland.
I also like biographies.
