I've been a digital nomad for the past 11 months (it's currently April 2025). I realized in 2024 that I didn't have to stay in the US (and now I'm really glad I didn't) so I set out on an adventure.

I work on my online business during the day and like to go out some evenings for walks, karaoke, open mics, or to experience a new speakeasy!

I don't have a permanent residence so I can't offer to host at this time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and seeing new places through the eyes of locals instead of as a tourist.

When I travel internationally, I love connecting with people who live there so that I can experience the culture and also learn how to be respectful. I want to learn so that I'm less likely to do something offensive or that makes others uncomfortable!

Movies: comedy, super hero (Marvel & DC), action. Love the Harry Potter movies (and books!), Star Wars, Twilight (don't judge me LOL).

Books: The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning, The Nighthuntress Series by Jeaniene Frost, Immortals After Dark Series by Kresley Cole. I read some personal growth stuff but mostly action/adventure/fantasy romance.

Music: 90s hip-hop & rap, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Indigo Girls, Ani Difranco. When I'm chilling, I like lofi and when I'm dancing, EDM or remixed Pop

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Mexico on an Intuitive nudge last year. I'd never been here but my intuition started screaming for me to come here so I gave myself a 2 week trial run but I was in love with it after just 4 days.

Other things:
- I've performed standup comedy in 3 states in the US and 2 in Mexico.

- Written and published 2 consumer guides for online entrepreneurs

- Taught safer sex classes

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to help with dishes and food prep and light housework. I'm a team player and I'm happy to give back. I'm happy to be a helpful guest. But I will draw the line at being treated like a live-in maid/gardener/handyman.

I'm very neat and tidy. I'm known as the "ghost guest" when I stay with my friends back home because they hardly notice that I'm there.

I love to share experiences and conversations and get to know people! But I also need some alone time each day, to work and recharge.
