ABOUT ME

I am a well-travelled, inquisitive person. I love exploring new places, meeting new people and learning new things. I probably ask too many questions. But, hey, I'm a journalist, so it's part of the job. I am a kind person who is always willing to lend a hand when needed. When I agree to do something, I like to do it well and follow through. I'm trustworthy and caring. I like doing things for other people because it makes me happy to see that they are happy. I'm adventurous and cautious at the same time. I don't take crazy risks. I like to plan ahead, but I'm also easy going. I love good documentaries and have a passion for reading news.

Walked on the Great Wall of China. As I looked around at the landscape there were no people and no development in sight. I wondered how something like this could have been built without modern technology. I had a similar experience exploring Angkor Wat!

I passed plantation after plantation in Indonesia and was left completely awestruck that there appear to be almost no natural forests left in the country.

I met Cambodians as young as three who could name more US states and Canadian provinces than American and Canadian children their age.
