About Me

A few bytes all about me. yippee.I'm studying neuroscience at the moment. On Saturdays I sell cheese on the Noordermarkt, which is a farmers market in Amsterdam. In the time left I participate in a little amateur circus/theatre group with which we perform now and then, and I take some dancing classes if possible. And I like baking. Bread, cake, pie.And I like reading. And I like traveling, if possible by bike. And I even like knitting. There are so many things I like doing, I end up not being really good at anything.

Why live your dreams when you can just stand by and watch them multiply exponentially.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is still evolving, and i'm not fully satisfied with my own taste yet. I'll share it with the www once I am. I do have a weak spot for anything with a happy sound.
Books.Books. With books its quite the opposite. I like books which make you think, rethink and the let you come to the conclusion that life is useless and love is disastrous.
Dostoyevsky- The Idiot
Iris Murdoch – The Black Prince
Julian Barnes – Talking It Over
Herman Hesse – Knulp

Movies. I can watch anything depending on my mood and company, varying from those strange Scandinavian nothing-really-happened-but-everything-happened movies to the usual Hollywood everything -happened-but- nothing-really –happened movies
