I'm an 18-year-old French-Icelandic girl in love with culture and languages. After finishing high school in Paris, France, I decided to take a gap year in order to travel around Europe. I was an Au-pair for 3 months in Germany, before coming in Iceland to work and reinforce my connections with this beautiful country.
With the money I earned, I will be travelling in May, with my boyfriend - a joyful and friendly guy who speaks English, French and Spanish. We will be exploring 10 different countries in a month (interrail) and hopefully learn a lot from many interesting people and places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for any kind of host (family, couple...) who would kindly accept to lend a bed or a couch for me and my boyfriend, for 1 night or 2. We worked for this trip and will be enjoying it on limited students budgets, but also we would love being able to exchange a few words with local people about their favorite food, bar, garden or tradition - so couchsurfing sounds like a very good option for us. We are always keen on giving a hand in the house, learning a few foreign words, listening to your stories and telling a bit about our (short) lives. But we are also very independant and have planned dozens of things to do so we definitely won't be so much in your way.

Music: at the moment me and my boyfriend are going through a "jazz phase" - Duke Ellington, Coltrane, Moby dick...

Movies: Too much. I particularly love David Lynch.
