ABOUT ME

I think life is too short to work too hard. Enjoy every second while you can. I'm a live music junkie, dog lover, beer, bourbon, brisket, and tequila lover. When I turned 30 I quit my job in the human services industry and moved to Austin to pursue my 'dream job' of working in the music business--even though I had no training of any kind. Surprisingly, I got several decent jobs in the business pretty quick. I'd made it. And then realized I hated it. Instead, I started working odd jobs, and just doing things i enjoyed..NEVER working a full time job. I told myself I'd keep spending time in Austin and Virginia and only working odd jobs until the fun or the money ran out. That was 9 years ago, and it's all working better than ever. I lived in a totally cool and funky RV park in Austin for over 6 years. These days I spend a few months in Austin in the fall and spring, but am a born again Virginian. It's a good life if you don't weaken.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that... I don't know. I can't figure it out all tonight...

Any way possible! I'm trying to take more spontaneous trips these days. And am open to hosting whenever possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had 2 really great surfing occasions, and had great interactions with my old neighbor and some of her couchsurfing guests that she used to host (which is how i was first introduced to CS).
