I am a grad student and live in California, USA.

"If life is one book, then I want to make my story the most interesting one. And I will make sure that each chapter would be a thrilling experience." That`s my philosophy and I live by that.

I am generally quite because I like to observe things and people around me, but if our frequencies match, I am sure we will have a crazy time together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people from diverse culture. During my grad school in USA, I got a chance to meet a lot of people from different parts of the world.
I get amazed by their stories and I would like to know more about your story and share mine with you.

Interests

I love to cook food. I can vouch to serve you the best Indian food you will ever have.

I love to click pictures, though I am not a professional, I am on that path. My cameras are my priced possession.

I love hiking. Specially early morning hikes. I prefer sunrise over sunset.

During my undergrad, I started graphics designing for hobby and I quite excelled at it. I have made a few short promotional movies as well. ( Yes, I am a geek!!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Life would have been much more interesting if it had background music. So I keep my earplugs on.
Coldplay is my favorite band. I had a a chance to witness them live in concert recently in October !!!

I am movie buff and I like to binge-watch tv series.

My favorite books are The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, The monk who sold his ferrari by Robin Sharma.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my undergrad, I volunteered for a non-profit student organization, PRERNA. We provided a platform for the differently-abled people to showcase their talent and skills. We organised annual events, music concerts and various events over the years.
With the support from UNESCO and then Chief Minister of the State, now the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, we recorded a Guiness Book of World Record by conducting an event where more than 700 deaf and mute children performed on the National anthem of India.

I feel immense proud for being a part of such organization and I still continue extending my support in other ways.

I can introduce you to how to use photoshop and lightroom to enhance your pictures. I can give you my two pennies about some programming languages if you want to start from something (Its super cool!).
