Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe you can't say you know a place until you see it as if you lived there. That is, following touristic routes one learns no more than navigating google street view. Therefore I feel the need to walk down the streets, use public transport, go to the local grocery shop and, most importantly, make some friends.
