About Me

Hey you there, who intends to visit Brussels. Would like to know more about me? Okay, here we go! I am a Belgian who grew up in Sint-Truiden. I moved to Brussels after my studies and still am living in the capital of Belgium.

Life over here is amazing. Very international, languages, meetups, events, activities. I used to live in the city center but there were way too many tourists passing by my street. That's why I decided to move a little bit out of the old town, still close to the metro. It is more quiet over here, which makes it possible to have a very good night rest and start the day full of energy.

You can join me for slow running or cycling and enjoying the view. Not feel like running or cycling, let's just walk and discover. I will show you the old-town and more important the non-touristic places. Do you know where to go for a drink and what do you want to eat? Do you know there are free music concerts, movies with live piano? Have you heard about the special one?

Voila, you just found a great place! Your host is waiting for you. Stay with a local and discover Brussels like a local. (ps all info provided by me is non-commercial)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I co-organize the following
-weekly meetings
-weekly sport activities
-weekly free walking tours
-language conversation tables
-Brussels CouchSurfing Events
-Annual CS Brussels X-mas Party

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Sleeping at the beach of the Balaton Lake (Hungary), climbing the Mont Ventoux (France), visiting a place with a beautifull view (with a special person), running 20km de Bruxelles with almost no practise, booking a flight to meetup a friend, went to Brussels International Airport to welcome my guest from Minsk (Belarus), eating and drinking with my host while watching the sunset at the Baltic Sea (Lithuania).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can guide you around, share with you my experiences from activities, conferences, events, meetings, parties. We can go walking, hiking, running, cycling, sight-seeing, playing boardgames, going to a free concert or maybe we can relax from a day-trip to another city. We can buy food and make a dinner while having interesting conversations. Maybe we can go to a free music concert or hang out somewhere and enjoy the moment. Carpe diem!

What I Can Share With Hosts

I am not the guy who is going to show up late evening and leave early morning, because I don't like that at my place. The person who wants to meetup and/or host me will receive much in return. Moments can not be described, you have to experience them. Collect moments, not things!
