About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finding the American dream- in Europe, like all Americans

ABOUT ME

I'm happy with anything and everything, except pickled asparagus. I believe that anything and everything can be funny or fun, and if you're not always having fun then you have the wrong outlook on whatever you're doing. I love the interrim aspects of travel: the trains, buses and airplanes as much as the destination itself.

PHILOSOPHY

People are more free than they think they are. How free? I don't know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ostensibly my participation in CS as of right now is filling out an about me, but after this I plan to surf when I need to, and especially I plan to host from San Francisco, my home base. I like to share the love, digg?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

informally and organizationless in the West of America! I have hosted bands and friends and friends of friends in sg, and am no stranger to the couches of Portland and Seattle! I like experiences where I cam be helpful to people absconding groups that could use an extra hand.

Interests

Dancing, romancing, excessive fun, jokes, rock climbig, building climbing, tree climbing especially, sittig, standing, walking, hiking, road biking, road bike building, gardening, farming, gardening, fruit tree pruning, plant propagation, compost methods and theory, foraging, dumpster diving, debauchery, mischief on any level, making fun of myself, cute dogs, reading, talking about anything except the weather.
I have a vested interest in the future of sustainable agriculture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ween, Thomas Pynchon, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, The Pixies, One Hundred Years Of Solitude, The Big Lebowski, Electric Light Orchestra, Cormac McCarthy, Gone With the Wind, experimental music, turn of the century 'pull yourself up by your bootstraps' penny dreadfuls, Stanley Kubrick movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing stands out. This doesn't mean I've done nothing amazing, but instead that I don't like evaluating life on a most/least scale. I guess most amazing thing: keeping my eyes and my heart open at the same time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a nearly photographic memory for facts and trivium that I would love to share with anyone who cares. I know a lot about gardening and plants, I can show you what plants in a dels of weeds are edible and good or medicine. I cook omnivore, vegetarian and especially vegan, I bake for fun nearly every week and love to help others get better at it.
