Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The abridged life story : I went travelling around Asia last year and was hosted by a number of amazing people (albeit not via couch surfing, still i met plenty of couch surfing hosts on my trip). My experience of staying and meeting with locals/ natives/ grass roots people really made visiting the cities memorable. Tokyo, Hongkong, Wakayama, Bangkok, Hanoi.

When I got back to London, I couldn't find anywhere to live for months. Hostels in London SUCK. Hotels in London are a waste of money. Compared to everywhere else I stayed while travelling, the traveller experience here would have made me never come back to London and regret coming here in the first place.

Couch surfing and Airbnb were the only viable option in many cases and I really hope to be able to see more of the world using these tools crossing many more paths with more amazing people.

I'd love to be able to give someone else a chance to see London a little better and at the very least leave a lasting impression from within the London lifestyle.

Setting this account up now that i'm back and settled to hopefully give some one else an amazing experience of London.

Still working out Hosting schedule and availability as I'm currently in a shared house. Will try my very best to stay active on Couch surfing though!!
