ABOUT ME

I am fairly quiet and laid back most of the time, and mostly the kids drive our social life... we tend to work from home part-time, and take it pretty easy (both for health reasons and because we can). We're hoping to get up to Cairns in Sept/Oct - our first big family road trip for 3 years. I'm also very involved with studying wildlife, especially birds, through the Australasian Wader Studies Group. This takes me out doing field work to various beaches both here and interstate (e.g. Broome).

PHILOSOPHY

Not religious (more interested in evolution!) but think religion has helped people work out their values and how to get along with each other. I'm also trying to get meditation to work for me, but being a scientist "its complicated".
