ABOUT ME

Being born and raised on a farm is one of the best educations a person can receive. Having said that travelling is also one of the best educations a person can receive. Since I started travelling I have learnt alot about myself, the world and how to step outside my comfort zone, no matter how hard and daunting that can be! In the world of backpacking, I class myself as late bloomer in terms of when I started travelling and where I have been, although I'm slowly working on changing the "where I've been" part!!

Ok, so more about me.......I like meeting people, discovering new places and seeing the real world, as opposed to watching it all on TV. I consider myself to be nice, polite and friendly. Being considerate and having consideration for others is one of my top values in life. I also like reading and would love to work in a book store one day. My favourite author at the moment is James Patterson. I also like exploring the outdoors, camping, hiking and basically just doing fun things. Sometimes my comfort zone gets in the way and that is one of the reasons I have created my bucketlist to remind me to keep pushing and challenging myself.

At this stage I`m just a surfer, but once I have a base I`m hoping to also be a host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No surfing experience yet, although I hope to change that very quickly!!

Big fan of James Patterson and Janet Evanovich. I know I said that I love reading, but I will admit that I pretty much stick to a couple of authors and genres. I think the main reason would be that I cant afford to buy too many books, so the ones I do buy are the ones I enjoy the most!! I love watching horrors, action, comedies and nature documentaries. I`m open to watching different movies, documenties etc. I like letting my friends pick the movie, as I generally stick to the above genres. This way I get to watch something I may not have thought to watch previously.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The main one, would be the helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon. It was amazing. The size of that place is beyond anything I ever imagined. Have plans to return and explore further.
