ABOUT ME

I have been lucky enough to spend the last several months traveling around New Zealand with my partner who is a native Kiwi. We were looking forward to a fresh start in California upon our return. As plans have a tendency to do, it completely disintegrated before our eyes just days before our return. We are thinking of switching and relocating to Ashland or Eugene Oregon. Of course, we know essentially nothing about either, are strapped for cash and in a bit of a rush. Perfect. We enjoy the finer things in life like tasty beer and tasty cheese. We are easy to get a long with and love camping (not so much after the last couple months), music, fishing, swimming the outdoors in general and traveling! We are not picky and find it easy to go with the flow. I am addicted to hot sauce.

Interests

Before my recent hiatus I spent much of my time working in my flower gardens and vegetable gardens. I miss my saffron plants! I love to bake anything and everything. But then I have to get rid of it before I eat it all. I especially enjoy a new baking challenge. Pavlova is next on my hit list. I love to read. Genetics and human psychology are my favorite topics lately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The water in Barbados is breath-taking. Milford Sound in New Zealand is stunning. You could really say that about ALL of New Zealand but especially Milford Sound and Able Tasman. I experienced glow worms for the first time in my life a couple weeks ago and felt like a five year old riding a unicorn. Awesome.
