ABOUT ME

I'm friendly and helpful. I strive to make people feel comfortable and safe around me. I have a protective personality. I am independent and like to do my own thing, but I love to have people around, too, just because I can have more to laugh about with others. Indeed, I love to laugh and am easily amused. I have a wide variety of friends that I do things with: hippies, debutants, my ATL boos, foreign travelers, business people, even ministers. Ergo, I am a puzzle piece that can fit into basically any group's puzzle. I am from the American South, so I have all of my manners as to never let anyone leave my presence without being thanked for something. Apart from my hospitality and graciousness, I am 21, so I often go out and have a good time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand new to the Couchsurfing network, but I have had a little unofficial experience...ok, maybe more than a little. As a college student, I have friends all over the States and often travel to see them. When there, I often sleep on their couch (or even the floor). And technically I've already been a host to several people. Many times I have gone out with friends and met people coming to our campus for the big game whose sleeping arrangements have fallen through. I gladly welcome them to come and sleep on my big, comfy sofa, and then I'll sometimes cook them breakfast to show some Southern hospitality. It's never sketchy or weird, since I have a roommate and/or other people often staying with me for the gameday weekends. I'm just friendly and want everyone to have a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ok, this category I can do. I love movies: Heavyweights, Boondock Saints, Gladiator, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Christmas Vacation, anything Quentin Taratino. I've read a lot of books, my most recent favorites are by Alexander Dumas. I love the way he writes: expansive stories with just the right amount of detail. My music taste has evolved into that of rock music. I'm a fan of Led Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, Aerosmith, & CCR.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam with dolphins in Honduras, that was pretty amazing
