To escape a a life trapped by expectations of society

PHILOSOPHY

It depresses me seeing so many people settle for a life that is boring. They are born, go to school, get a job, find a partner, marry, have kids and then they die. A life of nothing. I seek to live a life free of worrying about stupid things, obsessing over material objects and full of things I want to do, not bowing down to what society expects me to do. If you knew an afterlife existed and in this afterlife you lived your life again but doing each and every activity you've ever done in chunks, for example you spend 6 months on the toilet, then a year walking,etc (guessing at timeframes), would you change your life? I think most people would, so why not change anyway?

I love music and ultimately hope to make a career making it. A crazy dream but I will work to do it. Some of my favourite music artists are Jacques Brel, Morrissey, Kylie Minogue, Elvis, Sparks and Klaus Nomi.

I also like movies a lot, my favourite actors and actresses are Diana Dors, Rachel Mcadams, James Dean, James Cagney, Bette Davis, Albert Finney and Oksana Akinshina. My favourite movies include Rebel Without a Cause, Big Trouble In Little China, Lilya 4-Ever, Seventh Seal and Saturday Night, Sunday Morning.

I like books of true stories and books that make me think.
