About Me

In 2015 I deployed on the USNS Comfort, a hospital ship based out of Norfolk, VA. For six months, I provided humanitarian aid to 11 countries in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean as a part of Operation Continuing Promise 2015. So that was cool.

PHILOSOPHY

A mishmash of quotes I love

Life is your search for the intersection of happiness and responsibility. You don't get a map, everyone you ask will give you different directions on how to get there, it's easy to get lost or forget where you're going, and you might never get there (or might stay for a while before getting lost again).
-Surviving the World Web Comic

Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own.
-Bruce Lee

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.
-The Little Prince
