ABOUT ME

I'm a college student with 5 female roommates and live in the Women's Rugby House near our university. I have 2 cats and was partially raised by my grandparents. Politically I'm liberal. If I had to describe myself in three words they'd be, "Outgoing, open-minded, and kind." If my friends had to decribe me in three words they'd be, "Outgoing, easy-going, and crazy."
I work hard and I play hard. My friendships are important to me. I appear to be a realist, but I'm secretly an optimist. Shhhh...

PHILOSOPHY

I want to make the world a better place. Sounds cliche, right? Yeah, that's what I thought. I think judging other people is one of the biggest mistakes a person can make. I like to be productive, live, and experience things. However, I try not to stress out. I'm on the 5-year plan, "Will this matter in 5 years?"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to make the world a friendlier place. I currently attend a university and am very lucky to have a house close to campus. Because of this I am able to host many friends, whether it's for a night during finals week or just lunch between classes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through rugby I also host and stay with members of local teams when I travel.
I always wanted to have a welcoming home when I grew up, somewhere anybody could just crash for the night and save a few bucks. I started traveling in high school and would call up distant relatives or friends of friends to save money and have a new experience. Hotel stays are monotonous and impersonal. When I travel I like to experience the local culture thoughroughly.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I've read most of the American classics, currently I don't have the time to read for fun. I put off reading my textbooks as long as I can, but when I do get around to reading them I usually enjoy the content.

I listen to almost anything.... no heavy metal.

When watching film with friends I never choose.. I like to be given choices and then exercising veto power... Most films are okay.

My special talent: I have the Periodic Table of Elements memorized in order.

I also know: cooking, sewing, woodworking, gardening, cabinetry, welding, fitness.... stuff you probably won't want to learn on vacation..
I read the news everyday and am pretty well rounded. I'm sure we have at least one thing in commom.
