About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to always live in the present.

ABOUT ME

I am a Pokagon Band Potawatomi and I follow my people's traditions as much as I can. I live and work in Michiana but I am at home when I am around good people anywhere in the world. I have been studying history and criminal justice. I will be a police officer someday, but right now I have fun.

You will find me to be a person that is honest, straightforward, and quiet. I speak only when the words need saying. I also have a great sense of humor, as any native should. I'm also a huge fan of the Beatles.

PHILOSOPHY

The greatest wisdom--and the savior for this Mother Earth and the human race--will be found in the practices and traditions of the Native Peoples of North America and the principles of Liberty at the heart of America's founding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to host as much as I can, but I also travel infrequently and I would be delighted to meet people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've offered my home to many great strangers and garnered friendships that last.

Interests

Lacrosse, the Beatles, travel, hiking, geocaching, computers, politics, etc. etc. etc... Name it. If I don't have at least a little interest in it, I would be surprised.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Beatles fo sho. I also have a Kindle and I read everything people recommend to me, plenty of Fantasy and non-Fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have walked through forests in Michigan that are totally untouched by European influence and have received the same care from their Native People for 15,000 years... I have walked through Michigan. Have you?

Teach, Learn, Share

I practice the teachings and traditions of the Potawatomi Indians of the St. Joseph River Valley. Guests in my home will be asked to participate in any ceremonies I have and will be taught anything they'd like to know about my tribe. (No worries for you religious folk, nothing here will conflict with your beliefs.)
