About Me

I come from Chongqing, the city famous for its hotpot and beauties in southwest of China. Now I am receiving education in Wuhan. Last semester, in the 3rd year of my college, I changed my major from Telecommunication Engineering to Stomatology. I am excited to realize my dream of being a dentist.
And I'm still on the way of another dream that is travelling around the world. By now, I've traveled many places in China, Tibet, Xiamen, Guilin, Chengdu( hometown of giant panda), Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou etc. Next plan of my journey is the rest of the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to know more people from all over the world and gain international friendship. By couchsurfing I wanna feel another culture closely and get help about travelling, eating from the local residents. Meanwhile, I want to spread Chinese culture to the rest world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Celebrate last Chinese Spring Festival in Tibet!
Spring Festival is the most important festival for our Chinese, just like what Christmas means to Americans. It's time of families' renuion. It's not easily acceptable for middle-aged or old people to spend spring festival holiday without relatives in other city rather than the hometown. Besides, Tibet is remote place which is mysterious to even us Chinese. So I take every effort to persuade my parents to go to Tibet for vocation and finally succeeded. It did prove to a fantastic tour: gorgeous scenary of Tibetan Plateau, fancy culture of the minority nationality.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the host Chinese and tell him or her everything about China
I'd like to learn the local language and maybe how to cook some local dishes
I'm willing to share my experiences about traveling around China and personal interesting stories. If possible, I will bring some products with Chinese characteristics.
