A New York native, motivational speaker, and community activist, Hugues Sygney is a proud graduate of Queens College, founder and president of Freedom Through Knowledge, and former president of Habitat for Humanity at Queens College.
Hugues was raised in Brooklyn NY by his single mother, and learned the value of hard work with her as his inspiration. His involvement in Pace University as an orientation leader, and student activities manager are a testament to his dedication. With his intense focus on International Politics throughout his educational career, he has received praise from professors and students alike for his community building efforts and unyielding work ethic. He is a prominent and outspoken activist for those struggling with alcoholic and sexual abuse, the homeless and displaced, and those who lack the resources to improve their situation on the international level.
