ABOUT ME

They would say I am amongst the nicest guys they know, that I'm someone they can trust absolutely, and that I would go out of my way to help my friends in any way I can. I'm friendly (though not always outgoing), responsible, nerdy, fun and just generally a stand up guy.

Interests

I really love television and movies, though I enjoy reading, biking, backpacking, camping, and other outdoor activities as well. I enjoy pretty much any genre of music including classical and choral.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I visited Estonia, I was amazed by the choirs they had there. I would rate them amongst the best in the world and listening to them sing is awe inspiring.

I spent a week camping on Isle Royale with friends of mine from Marquette, MI and seeing the natural beauty of our surroundings was breathtaking.

I think my absolute favorite moment though, was watching a thunderstorm roll in across the lakes in the Quetico region of Canada. It was in the Canadian rock shelf with wind whipping the trees all around me, knocking some down from the sheer force. The lightning flashed in the distance and then the rain came pounding down around us, pelting our faces and gluing our clothing to our skin. Hearing the thunder rumbling across the surface of the lake should have been nerve-wracking, but it was just so calming and peaceful. Most enjoyable moment of my life.
