Stop limiting myself.
Currently (summer 2014) traveling the United States in a short bus with some awesome people and playing a lot of music. We're taking time to travel individually and I am hoping to find a couchsurfing host in that time. Also, I'm moving to NYC in August! :D
Spill your guts before you bite your tongue. If something needs to be said, be honest, caring and up front. Understand the other person's perspective, internalize it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted in the past, but don't have a home to my own right now really, except that short bus. I'm a surfer for the time being!
Lionel Lombard in New Orleans is the best couchsurfer of all time, hands down, eat your heart out everyone else.
Thanks couchsurfing, for giving us a medium to meet each other through.
Music, art, writing, books, playing guitar, dogs, food, facial hair.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Kurt Vonnegut, George Orwell, Ernest Hemingway, William Faulkner, James Baldwin, Aimee Bender, David Sedaris, Vladimir Nabokov (who looks suspiciously like a Russian Pablo Picasso), Dashiell Hammett, I'm open to anything.Music: Just about everything outside of modern popular music. There is no one genre that I like more than any other. A random shuffle through the "Groups that start with the letter C" section my music collection might lead you to find anything from CAKE to Celia Cruz to Can to Charles Mingus to Common. All time top artists though? Prince, Otis Redding, Art Blakey, Jack White, and the Pixies Movies: I am an ardent believer that Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971 version) is the single greatest series of images and sound ever put together, with the original Star Wars series following a close second and Point Break a not-so-distant third...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I DID SCHOOL AND FINISHED!
Teach, Learn, Share
I will teach you how to play the guitar, and how to tune one and how to change strings and how to listen to music and how to find constellations and how to not be afraid to cut your hair.
