ABOUT ME

I'm a dork prone to sudden inexplicable obsessions, and fits of laughter. I tend to fit in as "one of the guys", I'm not a girl that'll drag you out to go shopping or make you wait hours for me to get ready. I'm a creature of comfort, warm homes and good food.

This doesn't mean I object to adventure - if your company finds itself in need of a burglar to help reclaim your homeland, sign me up. [Though I'm not a burglar. Not really. Gandalf lied. unu]

兴趣

I like tumblr, writing, doodling, horseback riding [though I haven't ridden in a while], diving and cats. During Christmas I wear reindeer headbands.

I love video games. My recent Friday nights have been consumed entirely by Mass Effect and the new Citadel DLC. Javik and James are the best companions ever and if you disagree you're wrong. (unless you say Garrus is the best, because he's awesome too)

Books: Damn this is hard. Harry Potter. The Chronicles of Narnia was also an excellent read. Agatha Christie books are fantastic. The Pendragon and Inkheart series were also a really good read. Oh and anything by Neil Gaiman. The man's a genius.

Comics: The Watchmen, The Losers, the Iron Man Extremis storyline. The Umbrella Academy. The Sandman. <3

Movies: Plenty. Anything from Marvel is without a doubt a favourite. Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America etcetera.

Lord of the Rings, definitely, and now, The Hobbit. Star Trek, Sherlock Holmes, War Horse, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Losers. Christopher and his Kind is one of my absolute favourite movies. Anything by Disney. I love animated movies - The Secret of Kells is one of the best things I have ever seen and if you have not seen it yet I will make you.

Shows: BBC Sherlock, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Merlin, Grimm, Community.

Music: I like all things, but mostly latin, metal, rock and roll and alternative.

Food: Too many things I shouldn't. Ugh. I love cooking and baking so much I can't even. You need to try my lasagne.

I'm actually currently teaching English with my mother, which is fun. I've got basic camera work down pat, and I can edit videos on both Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. I write as well and have been asked to edit written work so there's that. I also do digital art but I don't really think I'm a qualified teacher, haha!

Growing up with both Asian and Western influences (my mom and dad respectively) I've got quite a good grip on the cultural practices in South East Asia, so if you need advice, I could be of some help.

As for what I'd like to learn, I've been dying to learn and practice Spanish! With someone who won't make fun of any mistakes I make ;( Any other rad skills are always welcome. :)
