Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I was planning to travel to Europe after my military service, I met a person who was a couchsurfer. She gave me lots of information about Couchsurfing. I was wondering that if it could happen in real life or not. Even after i met her in person I could not fully believe it. Because it sounded too amazing, little dangerous and adventurous at the same time.
(But it was not dangerous at all) After that meeting, I searched for information about Couchsurfing on the internet and found out some blogs regarding CS. I also read a book about Couchsurfing which is written by a Korean writer.
I traveled to Europe for 70 days with CS after I finished my military service which is mandatory in Korea. It was sincerely amazing to me. It was always a dream for me to meet people from different countries with unique cultural background. My dream came true after my trips. I still contact with almost all of my friends I met through CS. I have plan to visit them again and already visited a couple of them.
Some of my friends from CS visited me in Seoul,Korea.
I also went lots of CS meetings which were held in Korea and Turkey.
