About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get off the Gringo trail and meet (and party) with some locals!

ABOUT ME

¡Hola!

Firstly I should warn you that that is about as good as my Spanish gets.... but Im hoping to improve by hanging out with some locals instead of all the Gringos! Im looking to meet some great people to show me the sites, bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes, local stuff.... ANYTHING/EVERYTHING! Or at least more than the Lonely Planet has to offer!

I´ve been travelling for 7 months around South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and am now in South America and nearly at the end of my trip. I´ve wanted to try couch surfing since i heard about it from a girl i met in Thailand, but so far have not got round to it... Now with only 1 month to go I want to try it more than ever!!

Im very energetic, but easy going and I love to party! Oh, and i LOVE food!!! (but dont worry, im not fat so no need to fear for the springs on your couch :-)

I love wine.
I love steak.
I love cheese.

I dont smoke, but it doesnt bother me if you do.

Cant really think of any other vital stuff i need to say here, but if you want to know anything send me a message!

PHILOSOPHY

I love my life and I love the people in it.
I hate pessimism and negativity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If i enojoy my experiences, which im sure I will, I´ll offer my flat in London to fellow travellers when I return home.
.....Well, once I´ve found a flat to live in that is!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far....

Interests

Food!!! Especially learning to cook local dishes!

Meeting new people, experiencing crazy new stuff, learning about the country Im in, its people, culture and history...

And generally having a f**king good time!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music and love clubbing! Not really into RnB or metal, but anything else goes! When im in a foreign country I love to listen to the local bands and artists. Am currently loving the music in South America!

I love reading and will pretty much read anything from classics to romcom trash. At the moment I REALLY want to read Marching Powder since I went to San Pedro Prison in La Paz!! Anyone got it...???
I like all kinds of movies; comedy and thrillers probably the best. Some of my faves are: The Usual Suspects, Labyrinth, Napoleon Dynamite, The Godfather. Bit of a mix, but you get the gist!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have served the Queen of England tea.
And I f**ked it up big time!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to talk like a cockney geezer, a Brummie, a Scott, a Paddy, an Aussie... my English knowledge is off the hook. I also know a few choice words and strange phrases in Dutch, Swedish, Italian and German. When i put it like that I sound multi-lingual! Unfortunately, Im not.

But I can do the knife-in-between-your-fingers thing really fast.

Before I quit my job and became a travelling hobo, I used to work in design so can teach you stuff about ummmmmm, typesetting maybe? A very usefull skill! I dunno exactly what I have to offer other than FUN and possibly a place to stay in London when i get back!
