Hello everyone! I'm Ian, from the Midwest. I study economics at my university and study Korean, jog, and explore my city (St. Louis) on the side. My family is originally from Chicago so if you have any questions about either city (Places to stay, visit, eat at, etc.), let me know! Anything else, you can just ask me. I look forward to meeting you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm going to Korea in about a week and I'd like to meet fellow travelers and locals while I'm there! I want to get to know more about their lives and have fun in the country as well. Practicing Korean is good plus too.
- language exchange
- meeting new people
- hanging out
- learning new cultures
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Pachinko, Unbroken, can't think of more books at the moment but I'll add them to the list as I keep thinking about it.
Movies: Anything with Mark Wahlberg or The Rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've made spaghetti before and it tasted pretty damn good.
(Well, I make a lot of different stuff since I enjoy cooking haha)
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I speak Korean (I can't have a debate in philosophy or something but I can do small talk) so I can teach you that! I also like talking about traveling, current events, different cultures, really just anything.
If I stay in your home and since I enjoy cooking, maybe I can cook for you as well!
