One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was with my brother in Italy we were at a farm with ostriches and wanted to commune with them. We went over to hang out and one very large one tried to attack my brother through the cage! It was pretty scary, and then we realized it was guarding this almost football sized egg! The egg filled me with awe. BUT THEN THE OSTRICH ATE ITS OWN EGG! right in front of me, the yolk bits flying everywhere and spattering us as it gobbled its own blood and sweat and I shed my own tears.
