I live in Davis and have a few relatives in Woodland, so I invested in a short term rental property in Woodland. I was born in Denmark with my father's side of the family living in Davis. I grew up with both cultures and love showing visitors the area. I enjoyed visiting various parts of Europe and getting the first hand cultural experience by staying in Bed and Breakfasts. I want to bring the same kind of hospitality to tourists and business travelers visiting the Capital region of California. I work at UC Davis and as a part-time realtor. As I've seen many international scholars come to Davis in a frantic search for a place to stay, I discovered there is a real need for furnished homes for international travelers doing business at UC Davis. I started investing in rental properties a few years ago in Davis for faculty on sabbatical and recently decided to expend to Woodland due to the affordability factor, and it being the half way point between the airport and UC Davis.

I used to be a jet setting international traveler and loved staying at bed and breakfast throughout Europe. Now I like to invite people in and share my knowledge of the Davis/Woodland/Sacramento Area. I like to bike around Davis as a way of transportation but also to casually show the city to guests. I enjoy watching international movies and independent films on DVD at home or at the movie theater. I've gotten quite tired of Hollywood movies, so I usually wait until they come out of DVD if they are highly recommended.
