About Me

My name is Ibrahim living in Sardinia, an autonomous island of Italy south of Corsica. There are many positive things about the Island; it has a comfy climate throughout the year and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Also, the people here are easy going and very friendly. Time seems to move at a slow pace here, so if you want to turn off the engine for a few days you’ll find the region an ideal place to stay. I’m currently a research student and work at the CRS4, a research and development center near Cagliari; we are using molecular dynamics in order to uncover problems related to multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune disease with a high rate of incidence in Sardinia. Near where I live there is a city park enclosed by a very long circuit; that is where I go every early morning to run. I read a lot; I spend about 4 hours a day reading, just about everything, I like biographies and novels; there is so much to learn from great authors, many of whom have influenced our lives in different ways. Concerning my personality, of course, none can judge one's self but people report a very friendly, warm and generous person. I find it easy to socialize with people from all social and cultural backgrounds and I always base my behavior and actions on sincerity and good faith.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have gotten to CS thanks to the advice of my friend who reported a good experience using the service. My main interest here is pretty simple: meet people with whom I can share a good time. Cagliari is full of nationalities from all over the world, and this diversity flourishes through the work of many local associations which organize cultural events and youth programs.
