ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old female from The Netherlands. I graduated in May 2012 from Utrecht University and have been travelling with my friend since December 1st 2012. We'll be travelling for 6 months through SE Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

PHILOSOPHY

Laugh everyday and don't take yourself too seriously! Laughing really makes your life so much better and easier, so I love to hang out with people that also like to go through life with a smile :)

At the moment just surfing, but when I get home from travelling I might become a host (depending on if my parter will agree haha)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I haven't done any couchsurfing activities either as a host or surfer, but I'm hoping to be able to fill this box with positive experiences very soon!

Interests

In my free time I love rock climbing (or indoor climbing), cycling, hiking and just nature in general. I especially love mountains! Maybe because we don't have them in The Netherlands??

Other than outdoor activities I like music and going to the movies.

When I have the time (and money) I love to travel, either in Europe for short city trips or around the world for longer holidays.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies (obviously, since I studied them), no genre in particular, although I really like horror movies and of course the occasional chick flick. I also like to read, but have to admit that I don't do it that often. But when travelling I read more than at home (not as many distractions I suppose...). Musicwise I'm leaning towards the rock/alternative, but also like to listen to many other kinds of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things that I have seen so far in my life would include Angkor in Cambodia and the sand dunes in Vietnam. But there's so many beautiful places in the world that it's hard to make a choice!
