About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish school, med school, travel the world, and enjoy this beautiful life

ABOUT ME

I am an easy going guy from rural north Idaho in the USA. I grew up believing that every opportunity is one to take hold of and to drain every ounce of beauty out of everything I see. I am the eternal optimist, and am always looking to make the best out of life. I enjoy the unique experiences and interacting with people both like and unlike myself.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is all about finding what you need and want. Happiness isn't found by pleasing others or developing yourself to fit the mindset of what anyone else thinks is important. Each one of us has beauty and intelligence to add to the community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only heard about coucn surfing last year when my sister did it with a woman in northern africa. Then I stayed with Promitheus in Athens which was very fun. I hope to have many more great surfing experiences!

Interests

Well, I am a biomedical engineer planning on medical school. I want to spend my life helping others to enjoy life with the same quality that I do. I also enjoy the sciences and studying tissues, neural mechanics, and biology. I am a musician and music appreciator, traveler, enjoy long walks, and star gazing when I'm not in the cities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was living in Nepal teaching children I realized how beautiful life is and how nothing should be taken for granted. It is amazing to give your life to the service of something besides yourself, then you truly find who you are and what is the most important.
