CURRENT MISSION

I am developing and promoting my website, www.iDidCollege.com. My goal is to visit as many universities as I can, and interview people at each visit.

ABOUT ME

After going through the education system for the first 21 years of my life, I took a job working for Chrysler, LLC. Even while working, I lived at home to keep expenses low, in hopes of one day traveling. After 5 months of working at Chrysler, I completely dreaded ever taking the job. It was the most negative environment I had ever been in, and I was in a cubicle hell! As far as the eye could see, grey cubicles. So when the first review came around, I was honest with them, and they let me go.

I saved a pretty large sum of money while working for them, and now have been using it to develop my own website, www.iDidCollege.com. But now in order to truly say, "I did college", I want to visit as many universities as I can. All of my experiences throughout this rode trip will be documented on the website, www.iDidCollege.com. The site also has resources for pre-college, college, and post college students.

Bringing me to today. I will be traveling first through the United States checking out the domestic universities. I will likely have one friend with me to help with driving and building the website.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this site. Like I said, I still live at home here in Metro Detroit, and my parents won't let me host fellow couch surfers, I asked. However, I intend to welcome fellow surfers if I get a place of my own.

In order to avoid sleeping in my car or the tent I'm bringing every night, I am hoping to occasionally find a couch or two to shack up on while road tripping the United States. I do not intend on staying long in any one place, as I have much ground to cover.
