My claim to fame was as an AIDS activist, grantor for the 1996 San Francisco AIDS Dance-a-thon, hosted by Queen Latifah, with Madonna making an appearance among the dancers. It was the largest netting dance-a-thon of its kind.

I try to be an example of a good life full of generosity to others and genuine love for life. Although I am cynical at times about the progress humanity is making in its path to enlightenment for a better way of life, I have hope as a believer in the spirit world. My spirit world does not culminate in a supreme spirit. Spirit is simply the life that fills all things. It is completely natural--of course, in the absence of the supernatural or divine. Having been educated as a seminarian, I enjoy discussing theories and philosophies of life.
