Live life as a happy adventure.
I'm currently traveling across the country on foot, heading for destinations unknown. I'm exploring the land to the best of my ability, hitchhiking to and fro, and looking to see as much of the world as possible while I'm still able to. I've crossed the country a few times, been to some amazing places and met countless awesome people.
Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've been around the world without ever having much of a plan, and everything has worked out time and time again, as I meet new and interesting people and see new and interesting sights!
A few near death experiences, a little meditation, and constant adventure makes life about the best thing ever.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Though I seldom use the official CouchSurfing community, I have nonetheless surfed couches from the mountains of Colorado to the deserts of Jordan and the jungles of Panama. Each time I amazed by the kindness and generousity of people around the world.
I am a great enthusiast of biking, rock climbing, hashing, kayaking, and mountaineering. I also love history, movies, art, video games, farming, animals, building stuff, and shiny distracting things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't even know where to start. I love movies from b-horror shlock to Bergman, I listen to everything from Japanese drone metal to clasic rock to opera, and have read over a thousand books. You like the arts? I like the arts! There's probably going to be some common ground.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I managed to make it into Syria before the conflict erupted, finding a wonderful and hospitable land full of interesting people and places (and the best schwarma ever.) I stayed in a hotel that was an open atrium - the beds lying under a living canopy springing from a giant tree in the middle. The whole thing was wonderfully surreal!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a great deal of gardening basics, have built houses, fences, roads, terraces, and more, worked for years as a computer remairman, and used to be a wilderness medic. I'd love to help in whatever tasks you are up to.
I've also lost count of how many zombie movies I've seen, so I'd be glad to debate horror in the arts or help you prep for a potential apocalypse.
